The Yotvata Nature reserve, (Hai – Bar Yotvata) is open to visitors daily,( details from your hotel reception)is a 4,000 acre park located 40 kilometers north of Eilat with many Acacia trees which fruit, flowers and leaves are a food source for the herbivorous animals in this desert region. Entire animal populations had been killed off by hunting so in the 1960's the Hai-Bar was created to bolster endangered species of animals and birds and are they are slowly reintroduced into the wild. Animals include Onyx, Ostrich, Foxes and Leopards.

The camel farm is a short journey from your hotel where you can ride a camel for a real middle eastern experience. Horse and donkey riding are very popular activities in the Eilat area all easily reached from your hotel.

The whole Gallil area is made up of many streams, natural forests with oak, pine & many other types of tree, & several types of orchards. Ashkelon is a city in the southern region of the Israeli coast. In the ancient times the city was a Philistine seaport on the Mediterranean Sea, north of Gaza. In its former position the place was an Arab town called, Al Majdal, which was described as a large village in the 16th century. In 1949, a year after the Israelis declared Independence, the city got the new name Migdal Gaza, and then Migdal Gad. Soon after, it became Migdal Ashkelon. Only in 1953 the current name, Ashkelon, was adopted.
