The itinerary - Start from Jerusalem Hotel's:

Our tour begins on the Mount of Olives, where we have a panoramic view across the holy city of Jerusalem & Dome of the Rock on Temple Mount. Then we take the winding road down to the Kidron Valley giving us a view of the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was arrested the night before his crucifixion and we also see the Church of All Nations.
Than we enter the Old City through the Zion Gate and continue to the Armenian Quarter to the 1500-year-old Byzantine Cardo, going through the Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall. Here Jews from around the world come to pray and put prayer notes between the walls stones.
We continue to the Via Dolorosa, where Jesus walked towards his crucifixion. Along the way we pause at several Stations of the Cross and finally we reach the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The basilica is constructed above the place where Jesus is believed to have been crucified and within the church is his burial tomb.
Before we leave the Old City we meander through the typically Middle Eastern markets and then set off for Bethlehem, the city of Christs birth

We cross the Israeli / Palestinian check point Peace to Bethlehem & the Church of the Nativity.

We exit the basilica passing the Armenian Chapel of the Kings and continue to the adjacent Church of Saint Catherine. Then we descend to grottos which are connected to those beneath the Church of the nativity

Our final stop is to see Shepherds Field. Here the Bible tells us that an angel appeared to shepherds tending their sheep by night and the angel told them that a savior had been born in nearby Bethlehem.

On our way, we pass the Field of Ruth where Ruth, King Davids great grandmother worked in the fields of Boaz- On Fridays.

 Saturdays & Holidays - Holocaust Museum is closed. Visit instead Kind Davids Tomb, Hall of Last Supper & Garden of Gethsemane.

Bethlehem is under Palestinian Authority Rule. In order to enter you need a valid passport
