Beersheba (or Be`er Sheva as pronounced in Hebrew) is the largest city in the Israeli Negev desert, when it is also named as the Capital of the Negev.
As a resolute, it has become the administrative center for the southern region and home of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and the Soroka Hospital.
It is located in the heart of Israel, and distant 1 hour and 20 minutes from Jerusalem, 50 minutes from the Dead Sea, and 1 hour and 10 minutes from Tel-Aviv.
Arad is a modern city in the South District of Israel, on the border of the Negev and Judean Deserts, 25 km west of the Dead Sea and 45 km east of Beersheba, near the famous Masada . The town`s growth has closely followed a well-designed city plan. According to the city website, this was the first pre-planned city in modern Israel.
