Netanya is a city in the Center District of Israel and is the capital of the Sharon plain. It is located between the `Poleg` stream and Wingate Institute in the south and the `Avichail` stream in the north. Its 14km of beaches have made the town a very popular tourist resort. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), at the end of 2006 the city had a total population of 173,300.
Caesarea is a town in Israel which has grown up on the outskirts of historical Caesarea Maritima. It is located mid-way between Tel Aviv (45km) and Haifa, on the Israeli Mediterranean coast near the city of Hadera. Modern Caesarea, with a population of 4,200 people, is the only Israeli locality managed by a private organization, the Caesarea Development Corporation; it is organised as a communal settlement, although not as a kibbutz or moshav.
